Obama makes his declaration for a ‘08 Presidential bid.

For those that keep negatively commenting on his lack of political experience in Congress, I say to them, I’d rather have someone who isn’t a career politician with pockets soaked from the dirty money of Washington lobbyists.

Of course, there are several political issues with which I disagree with Obama, I strongly disagree with his stance on the issue of immigration reform and his support of squandering money for the construction of fences along the border. But his progressive stance on the war, health care, education, the environment, etc, are a good look as an alternative to undercover elephants like Clinton.

Discussions of a run for the White House has already garnered much ground. One of the most interesting issues I’ve come across surround “black” authenticity, and whether or not his immigrant identity will draw away many of America’s Black vote. O-Dub speaks on this issue, and he touches on a piece by Joan Morgan in which she says, “If Barack Aint Black Neither am I.”
